Product detailed description
Sprouting is a process whose purpose is to provide enough nutrients for the growing organism - the sprout. After the grain is soaked, a cascade of biochemical reactions begins - inside the grain, starches, proteins and fats gradually break down. As a result, sprouted grain is more digestible compared to unsprouted grain. Thanks to heat treatment, sprouted products are suitable for immediate consumption. Gluten-free sprouted oat flakes are ideal for breakfast with milk, yoghurt or fruit juice.
The production of sprouted products takes place in 6 stages:
- seed selection - we select high-quality grains with high germination capacity
- cleaning - multi-stage cleaning is the first prerequisite for the subsequent quality of the final product
- soaking - the seeds are soaked in drinking water, which washes away impurities
- sprouting - during the 24 to 48 hours of sprouting, the seeds partially change their nutritional profile; during sprouting we monitor the optimal temperature and humidity
- heat treatment - at the optimal stage we stop the sprouting process, heat-treat the seeds and dry them
- packaging - we pack them into reliable doypacks
The entire sprouting process takes place in an environment free from gluten contamination, so the sprouted oat flakes are gluten-free and suitable for coeliacs or people who want to reduce gluten in their diet.
