Tulsi Ginger Tea
An invigorating combination of Tulsi, regarded as the "queen of herbs", and ginger, traditionally known to activate the fire element in the body (Pachaka Agni). Together they serve as a delicious everyday treat that calms the mind while healing the body.
Preparation
Pour 200–300 ml of boiling water over 1 tea bag and leave to infuse for 5–10 minutes, depending on how aromatic and strong you want the tea to be. Sweeten to taste. Not recommended to drink with milk. Suitable for drinking throughout the day, as it's caffeine-free. For maximum effect, drink 2 to 3 cups a day.
Preparing iced tea
To prepare 1 litre of iced tea, use 5 tea bags, pour 2 cups of boiling water over them, cover and leave to infuse for 20 minutes. Then remove the tea bags, add 2 cups of cold water and leave to cool. For maximum effect, drink 3 to 5 cups a day.
