Myrrh has been used for millennia in various religious ceremonies and celebrations. It was highly prized in ancient times, and its value was often greater than that of gold. The rich, smoky scent of myrrh purifies, regenerates, revitalises and invigorates. It is also excellent for meditation.
Use: Place the incense stick in a holder designed for this purpose (so the ash from the stick has somewhere to fall). Then light the stick and let it burn briefly. Extinguish the flame with a wave of your hand and let the stick simply smoulder. If you don't want to use the whole stick, you can put it out while it is smouldering by pressing the smouldering end against a fireproof surface.
