The Ambrosia Fresh Turkey & Herring recipe combines fresh, protein-rich turkey fillet with dehydrated herring containing omega-3, and selected fruit and vegetables. This Fresh Turkey & Herring recipe is designed for low-activity sterilised cats, with a low fat content to prevent weight gain, and a low magnesium and DL-methionine content to prevent struvite stone formation. It also contains prebiotics and probiotics to improve digestion and the immune system, chondroitin and glucosamine to protect the joints, along with taurine to support brain and cardiac-muscular development.

Sterilised cats require a special diet containing a high amount of animal protein while maintaining a low magnesium level, to prevent the formation of struvite stones. DL-methionine also plays an important role in acidifying the urine, further preventing stone formation.
