Sweet potatoes are added to further strengthen the food's hypoallergenic properties. It also contains prebiotics and probiotics to improve digestion and the immune system, chondroitin and glucosamine to protect the joints, and taurine and L-carnitine to cope with the higher metabolic rate of toy breeds. Fresh Salmon and Rabbit is a specialised recipe combining high-quality proteins, fats and carbohydrates that provide enough energy for adult toy breeds, supplied in a small kibble size.

Toy breed dogs are usually more energetic than medium and large breed dogs. This is due to their higher-than-average metabolic rate and energy level. Protein and fat levels must be high to ensure sufficient energy and muscle growth. The amino acids taurine and L-carnitine also play an important role in maintaining muscle mass and a healthy metabolism. Glucosamine and chondroitin are also needed to support their joints, which are put under more strain due to the high activity levels of toy breeds compared with larger dogs. To accommodate their sensitive stomachs, we have used fish protein in all our toy breed recipes, as fish is the most easily digestible protein. Ambrosia Fresh Salmon & Rabbit mini is a complete food for dogs of all breeds.

Ingredients: Salmon 20%, of which fresh deboned salmon 10% and dehydrated salmon protein 10%. Rabbit meat 20%, of which fresh rabbit 10% and dehydrated rabbit meat 10%, potato starch, hydrolysed animal protein 10%, peas, animal fat 9%, sweet potatoes, dried sugar beet pulp, flaxseed, dried brewer's yeast, MOS (mannan oligosaccharides) and beta-glucans,  salmon oil 0.5%, dried chicory (natural source of inulin and FOS), minerals, dried broccoli, dried spinach, dried tomatoes, dried cranberries, dried blueberries, glucosamine hydrochloride 150mg/kg, chondroitin sulphate 1550mg/kg, dried herbs (Yucca schidigera, rosemarinus sp., Curcuma sp., citrus sp., Eugenia sp.)
