It occurs naturally in the tropical and subtropical forests of Asia, America and Africa, where it grows on the dead wood of deciduous trees. In Chinese culture it has a history of more than a thousand years – it was traditionally used as a prized culinary ingredient and a part of traditional Chinese medicine, where it was held in particularly high esteem. According to historical records, Tremella was considered a raw material worthy of the imperial table and was valued for its unique jelly-like texture and delicate flavour. Today it is among the most intensively scientifically studied mushrooms in the world and is the subject of research at many prestigious scientific institutions. ALTEVITA TREMELLA powder is made exclusively from fruiting body of the mushroom – not from mycelium – which, in terms of active substance content, is considered the most valuable part of the mushroom.

📋 Method of use

Recommended daily dose: 1 level coffee spoon (approx. 2 g) daily. Maximum daily dose: 3 g.

Instructions for preparation: Stir 1 level coffee spoon of powder into approx. 100 ml of water, juice, or add to a smoothie.

It is recommended to take 30 minutes before a meal or 60 minutes after a meal.
