For as long as we can remember, people have burned candles in sacred places. You may enjoy starting or ending your day with this simple ritual, lighting a candle mindfully for yourself and others.

How do you prevent a candle from burning unevenly? Let the candle burn until the entire surface of the wax has completely melted. Otherwise, a hole will form in the candle and it will only burn partially. Before extinguishing the candle again, try to let the melted wax pool be about 1 cm deep. We also recommend trimming the wick when it becomes too long, to prevent the flame from growing too large and the candle burning unnecessarily fast. However, a wick that is too short may prevent a wide candle from melting fully to the edge. That's why the correct wick length is also important for the candle to burn well. As a rule, a wider candle needs a longer wick than a narrower one.

Do not place the candle in a draught, as this shortens the burning time.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Place the candle on a heat-resistant surface.
