How to take Lipid Care

Are capsules, powder or tea more effective?

As a rule, capsules are the most effective and efficient way to take Ayurvedic herbs. The capsule form has higher efficacy due to the gradual release of the capsule's contents in the digestive tract, which means it's not necessary to take large amounts of the herb as with powders (churna) or teas. The capsule itself is made from plant cellulose, so it doesn't burden digestion and is also suitable for intolerances, such as coeliac disease.

Are crushed herbs or extracts more effective?

For Ayurvedic herbs, we always recommend taking crushed herbs as the first choice. Extracts are, in most cases, prepared from lower-quality herbs and therefore don't hold organic or eco certifications either, and in most cases they're also less effective. We always choose crushed herbs first for our range, as this is the traditional and higher-quality form in Ayurveda.

How should I take the Lipid Care herbal blend?

In general, for less serious issues or preventive use, we recommend a dosage of 1 capsule twice a day. The dosage can be increased if necessary.

For acute or persistent issues, we recommend a dosage of 2 capsules twice a day.

Arjuna (Terminalia arjuna) bark 130 mg,
Harjor – Veldt grape (Cissus quadrangularis) stem 130 mg,
Amalaki – Indian gooseberry (Phyllanthus emblica) fruit 45 mg,
Tulsi – Clove basil (Ocimum gratissimum) leaves 45 mg,
plant cellulose capsules

Dosage

1 to 2 capsules twice a day with food.

Recommended for use for at least three months. Can be taken long-term.
