General characteristics: One of the most versatile essential oils for health. Generally an excellent oil for recovery in the autumn and winter months.
Therapeutic properties of the oil:
Immunity – bacteria, viruses, infections, moulds, fungal infections, parasites, inflammation
Pain (analgesic) – headaches, migraine, muscles and joints, cramps
Respiratory system – dissolves mucus, suitable for inflammation of the bronchi/lungs and cough
Circulatory system – stimulation of blood circulation
Digestive system – improves and supports digestion, calming effect, suitable for pregnancy sickness, bloating, parasites
Urinary tract – stimulates urine output, recommended for cystitis, acute nephritis

Tip for a compress for fever (for older children and adults):
4 drops eucalyptus + 4 drops lavender per 1–2 litres of lukewarm water – apply a soaked cloth to the throat and pulse points.
Tip for creating protective energy (diffusing in a room):
2 drops eucalyptus + 2 drops frankincense + 2 drops tea tree (e.g. as a cleansing after an unpleasant visit). Diffuse for 30 minutes.
Blend for steam inhalation (for older children and adults):
1 drop eucalyptus + 1 drop pine + 1 drop tea tree – drip into a bowl of hot water and inhale the steam for 5 min. under a towel, 2 x daily.

Important warning: An oil with a strong effect! Do not use long-term and keep to a low dosage (maximum 10 days). When diffusing, inhale for a maximum of 30 minutes a day, 15 minutes for children. When blending with a carrier oil, use a maximum of 5 drops per 50 ml of carrier oil. Never apply near the face, and never let children under 10 years old inhale it directly. Do not use during homeopathic treatment.
