This special handcrafted mug, shaped like a beer stein with a brass handle, is made from pure copper. The interior is made of nickel. To make copper water: check out our other copper cups.

Copper changes colour over time due to natural oxidation. This is called patina. The material may also develop spots. These are natural properties of copper and have no negative effect on drinking from a copper item. Pure copper reacts with oxygen, water and residual substances in water, such as sulphur. This means the item has a high copper content and effectively purifies water. The discolouration of the interior is not harmful. If the discolouration becomes excessive, you can clean the bottle, jug, water tank or cup.

Do not wash in a dishwasher. Clean with natural soap, a soft sponge and room-temperature water. Protect from direct sunlight.
