This active substance was discovered for the very first time in the world in the late 1950s by Slovak scientist Prof. RNDr. Katarína Horáková, DrSc., who studied the anti-cancer effect of natural sulforaphane on human cancer cells in vitro.

Sulforaphane is found in broccoli. It has physiological benefits and offers protection against chronic diseases. In broccoli, it occurs in the form of glucoraphanin.
The presence of the enzyme myrosinase is necessary to benefit from its effects. It converts glucoraphanin in the body into sulforaphane, allowing its benefits to be utilised.

Sulforaphane inhibits the onset, growth and spread of several types of cancer, including breast, prostate, colon, skin, lung, stomach and bladder cancer.

Studies have shown that the risk of diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, stomach disease, neurodegenerative disease, eye disease and respiratory disease decreases in proportion to sulforaphane intake.

It also has a positive effect on behavioural disorders in children with autism, significantly reducing them with regular sulforaphane intake.

Sulforaphane is considered a protective shield against cancer. Slovak scientists Katarína Horáková and colleagues were the first in the world to discover and investigate the anti-cancer potential of sulforaphane, in 1968. The results were published in the Slovak oncology journal Neoplasma SAV (1968).

Sulforaphane forms a general anti-cancer protective shield - it blocks several steps (or a cascade of steps) that jointly contribute to the formation of cancer. Sulforaphane attacks the onset and growth of cancer from several angles at once. It is also suitable as a supplementary treatment for certain types of cancer. In addition to the anti-cancer mechanisms described above, sulforaphane also significantly increases the effectiveness of some commonly used anti-cancer drugs.

Ingredients: Activated glucoraphanin, made from broccoli seed sprouts (Brassica oleracea italica) containing glucosinolates and myrosinase.

Does not contain: gluten, yeast, wheat, corn, eggs, added sugar, starch, preservatives, peanuts or other nuts, fish or crustaceans.

Recommended dosage adults: Take sulforaphane as 1 capsule daily with food.
