About Sahumitos
“Sahumitos” refers to small bundles of dried herbs that are lit and left to smoulder, producing fragrant cleansing smoke used in rituals and personal practices.

The herbs used may vary, but often include sage, cedar, lavender, rosemary and other aromatic plants.

For the sahumito ceremony, light the bundle, let it catch fire, then blow it out so the herbs can slowly smoulder.

Warnings – instructions for use
Use a fireproof bowl or shell with sand. Light the end of the bundle and gently blow to extinguish the flame and allow it to slowly smoulder.
If the bundle is compact, blow harder to keep the smoke going. Keep the fireproof bowl underneath the bundle.
After use, extinguish in sand and set aside for later.
