It is made of hygienic, hypoallergenic PVC-based material.
The Pebbles are colourful, with various shapes and sizes (2–5 cm). They create a realistic yet light and playful imitation of sea pebbles. The pebbles stimulate the feet and hands and support sensory development.

Small elements and "move – attach – press" tasks develop fine motor skills: fingers become more dexterous, and coordination and grip strength improve.
The child can place the coloured pebbles on the puzzle, sort them by colour, arrange them freely, or create mosaic-like patterns from them. The pieces hold firmly to the puzzle, so it is possible to walk safely on the mat and massage the feet.

What the massage mat can do:

• supports the proper development of children's feet,
• improves muscle tone and strengthens both the longitudinal and transverse arches,
• actively contributes to better blood circulation,
• relieves tension in the feet by stimulating nerve endings.

Use:

• prevention of flat feet, club foot (inward-turned foot position), valgus deformity and other deformities;
• prevention of varicose veins, osteoarthritis and arthritis,
• relief from fatigue and the feeling of heavy legs.

All puzzle pieces are made of the same material, safe, hypoallergenic PVC without harmful additives. Thanks to different textures, each piece feels a little different. Grass, Shells, Pebbles and Sponges are among the softer puzzle pieces. Towers, Hedgehogs, Sea motifs and Acorns are of medium firmness. Pyramid, Spikes, Lotus and Pine cones are, by contrast, firmer surfaces. The combination of modules with different firmness creates ideal conditions for foot massage, arch training and sensory integration development.

Set of recommended exercises:

1. Walking on the mat forwards and backwards (30–40 seconds).
2. Starting position – standing, rising onto tiptoes (7–9×).
3. Standing – shifting weight from heel to toe (30–40 seconds).
4. Walking on the mat with crossed legs (30–40 seconds).
5. Walking on the inner sides of the feet (30–40 seconds).
6. Walking on the outer sides of the feet (30–40 seconds).
7. Walking on tiptoes (30–60 seconds).
8. Squats with the whole foot supported, without lifting the heel off the mat (7–9×).
9. Standing – maintaining balance first on one leg, then on the other (20–30 seconds).
10. Jumps from one piece to another (7–9×).
11. Jumps first on one leg, then on the other (6–8×).
12. Half-sitting position – walking on the mat (20–30 seconds).

This is the complete exercise routine on the Ortek massage mat. Once the puzzle pieces are laid out, simply start the video and your child can safely exercise following the recommended routine.
It is recommended to exercise three to five times a week. Already after a month you may notice the first results – muscles will be firmer and walking steadier.

Contraindications:

• open wounds or inflammatory skin conditions of the feet;
• diabetic foot syndrome.
