Shungite also has wide-ranging uses in the home. It benefits fish in an aquarium, as well as houseplants. It ensures good drainage of the soil, providing plant roots with plenty of water enriched with minerals and nutrients. Try the effects of this mineral on cut flowers too (it extends their vase life) or when rooting plants.

Method of use:
Wash the shungite with tap water. Fill a container using a ratio of 500 g of shungite to 5 litres of tap water. Leave the water to stand for ideally 12 hours. Infuse in the water for a maximum of 24 hours. Then pour off the water, and you can use it for drinking, cooking or bathing. 

 We recommend using it up, as unnecessary storage quickly reduces its energy value.

Do not put the water in the fridge, and do not cover the container of water. Rinse the used shungite and repeat the process of soaking the shungite again. We recommend using it a maximum of 2-4 times, after which the shungite should be cleaned.

After 5 - 6 months of use, replace the shungite with new to keep achieving the highest water quality.

Cleaning shungite: We recommend cleaning the shungite regularly to restore its properties. In regular weekly cycles, let the shungite dry out completely in the air, or in the sun. We also recommend soaking the shungite in a solution of baking soda or citric acid once every 2 months.

Storage conditions: Store in a dark place at room temperature.
