What is the reishi mushroom?

The reishi mushroom, also known as Ganoderma lucidum and lingzhi, is a mushroom that grows in various hot and humid places in Asia. For many years, this mushroom has been a staple ingredient of Eastern medicine. Several molecules are found in the mushroom, including triterpenoids, polysaccharides and peptidoglycans, which have positive effects on our health. While the mushrooms themselves can be eaten fresh, powdered forms of the mushroom or extracts containing these specific molecules are also common. This includes coffee made from this mushroom.

One of the best effects of reishi mushrooms is that they can strengthen your immune system. Research has shown that reishi can influence genes in white blood cells, which are important components of the immune system.

Preparation: 3,1 g = 1 sachet, pour over with 150 ml of max. 80°C water.
