Detoxification – Regeneration

Triphala is the best-known and most effective combination for internal cleansing as well as the regeneration or renewal of the body. In India the use of Triphala is deeply rooted and local people take it regularly for its effects. In the country it is said to look after the internal organs the way a mother looks after her children.

Triphala literally means "three fruits". It is made up of three herbs:

Amalaki (Phyllanthus emblica)

Bahera or Bibhitaki (Terminalia belerica)

Haritaki (Terminalia chebula)

Effects of Triphala:

• it is an ideal Ayurvedic remedy for cleansing the intestines. Cleansing increases the absorption of nutrients.
• it is one of the strongest preparations for cleansing and harmonising the whole body. It regulates the liver's metabolism, cleanses the body, involving a gradual and gentle detoxification (gradually removing dead cells, tissue and toxins that accumulate in the body). Triphala helps remove toxins from the body (high uric acid levels, high cholesterol, and the like)
• binds heavy metals and excretes them from the body
• increases appetite and improves the digestive process
• supports the function of the digestive, circulatory, urinary and respiratory systems - has a regenerative effect on all organs and induces balance in the body
• helps increase fat breakdown and therefore supports weight loss
• increases the number of blood cells
• it is suitable for skin conditions (cleansing the blood is also linked to better skin quality)
• it is recommended for frequent travel, changes and irregularities in lifestyle

Ingredients: Phyllanthus emblica, Terminalia belerica, Terminalia chebula (powder)

Dosage: 2 teaspoons after a meal, ideally in the evening before bed. Wash down with warm water or milk. Triphala should be taken for at least 3 months (the minimum time for the detoxification effect), as the herbs work gradually.
