Matcha coco latte is a bold combination of exceptional Japanese tea and the exotic fruit of the coconut palm, which comes from Southeast Asia.

Matcha tea is special in that its green leaves are ground whole into powder form, which fully preserves all the nutrients the leaves contain. One  cup of prepared Matcha tea contains as many nutrients as up to ten cups of green tea. It is one of the strongest teas there is. It contains an immensely high  dose  of antioxidants (polyphenols), thanks to which it can effectively fight free radicals in the body. Thanks to the antioxidants it has a rejuvenating effect and slows down the ageing process. Among vitamins it contains A and C, and among minerals calcium, iron and potassium. It also contains carbohydrates ( 35 g/100g) and protein (52 g/100g), and even fibre, which contributes to detoxifying the body and cleansing the intestines.

The strong aromatic flavour of matcha tea is softened by the delicious exotic flavour of coconut milk. Coconut milk has a naturally sweet taste, which pairs perfectly with the slightly bitter taste of the tea.

Coconut milk  is considered  an excellent substitute for cow's milk, and is particularly suitable for those who suffer from lactose intolerance or an allergy to cow's milk. Coconut is rich in a range of vitamins, B1, B2, E, niacin and B6. Among minerals it contains iron, phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, potassium and sodium.

Coconut milk is essentially not milk in the traditional sense of the word. It is a liquid that naturally occurs in ripe (brown) coconuts, held within the coconut flesh. When we open a fresh coconut, the milky white substance that flows out of it is natural coconut water. When we blend it with the coconut flesh and strain it, a thicker coconut milk is produced. Ripe  coconuts yield more coconut milk, while younger ones (about five to seven months old) are a better source of coconut water. As the nut ripens, more and more of the water inside turns into flesh. Coconut milk is richer in calories and saturated fatty acids, which, however, do not raise cholesterol.

It stimulates the activity of the immune system, has a beneficial effect on cardiovascular health, supports blood formation, and fights excess yeast in the body, viruses (flu, herpes) and bacteria that cause, for example, urinary tract infections, among others. In general it increases energy and stamina and improves digestion.
