Ingredients of the ASTAXANTIN food supplement:

EMULGOLD® acacia fibre

Acacia fibre is a type of soluble fibre, which is obtained from the sap of the acacia tree. It also acts as a strong prebiotic, supports immunity, improves the balance of the colon's microflora, reduces cholesterol levels and helps maintain an optimal body weight.

Astaxanthin extract

Astaxanthin is one of the most powerful antioxidants. It is a natural carotenoid coming from the largest source – the red algae Haematococcus pluvialis. It is precisely this naturally occurring red pigment that is an extremely powerful antioxidant – it supports the immune system, protects it and strengthens it.

It occurs naturally mainly in marine algae, shrimp or salmon. The effect of astaxanthin is several thousand times stronger than that of vitamin C or resveratrol. It helps protect cells against oxidative stress caused by free radicals. It works on the basis of cellular protection against oxidative stress.

Other effects of astaxanthin:

• an effective anti-inflammatory agent (helps protect the body against mitochondrial oxidation and inflammation)
• gives the body energy, which is why it is suitable for athletes and physically active individuals (regular use increases the vitality they need and speeds up the body's regeneration). It has a beneficial effect on the muscles
