5% dilute essential oils in grapeseed oil are essential oils that, due to their potency and price, we offer diluted in a carrier oil (grapeseed oil). Why?

Essential oils labelled "dilute" are more suitable for skin application, not for diffusing. They are not intended for diffusers.

Grapeseed oil as a carrier is easily absorbed into the skin, contains a wealth of vitamins and minerals, softens the skin and is suitable for all skin types.

Our tip: Apply a small amount of oil to pulse points – wrists, forearms, under and behind the ears. You will feel the effect within a few seconds.

The essential oil is found only in the middle part of the trunk and in the roots, so producing the oil requires felling the entire tree, which takes 30 – 50 years to grow.

Santalum album is on the list of endangered plants in terms of its wild-growing population (Red List) – which is why it is often adulterated.

The ancient Egyptians imported sandalwood for use in medicine, embalming and ritual incense burning when worshipping the gods.

Buddhists used it to treat depression, anxiety and insomnia.

In Tibet, monks applied it to relax the body and focus the mind.
